With a degree in Catalan Philology and PhD in Language Teaching, he has published more than 20 monographs and 100 articles on reading, writing and language teaching. Since 2004 he has directed the research group on Critical Literacy. She integrates the Laboratory of Distance Education and Elearning of UAb (LE@D), where she researches on pedagogy of online education, with special focus on digital assessment of learning. She coordinates the ADiC Project, in the scope of which she develops regular continuous training of teachers in context, on digital pedagogical assessment. She is co-author of the UAb virtual pedagogical model.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Mirjam Hauck<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Open University, United Kingdom<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Mirjam Hauck is Associate Head for Internationalisation, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the School of Languages and Applied Linguistics at the Open University\/UK and a Senior Fellow of the UK\u2019s Higher Education Academy. She has written numerous articles and book chapters<\/a> on the use of technologies for the learning and teaching of languages and cultures, in virtual exchange (VE) contexts in particular, i.e. online collaborative learning between groups of students in different cultural contexts and\/or geographical locations. VE combines the deep impact of intercultural dialogue with the broad reach of digital technology. It is a research-informed practice and a strong catalyst in advancing the internationalisation of HE curricula, known as Internationalisation at Home (IaH). Dr Hauck presents regularly at conferences, seminars, and workshops worldwide. She is the President of the European Association for Computer Assisted Language Learning (EUROCALL), and the Chair of the Language and Culture Expert Community of the European Association for International Education (EAIE). She serves as Associate Editor of the CALL<\/em>Journal<\/em> and is a member of the editorial board of ReCALL <\/em>and LLT<\/em>. She is a founder member of UNICollaboration.org<\/a> and was a co-investigator in the EU-funded VAMOS<\/a>, EVOLVE<\/a> and ERASMUS PLUS Virtual Exchange<\/a> projects. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
